Welcome to Mass General

Dear Colleague:

I’m delighted to welcome you to Massachusetts General Hospital. Our hospital culture is built strongly on the belief that our employees are our greatest asset. This phrase is written in our credo and witnessed and experienced daily by everyone who comes through our doors. We want every employee – even those just beginning their careers – to feel that they are a valued part of our organization.

Our employees are the reason that for more than 200 years the MGH has been able to fulfill its four part mission of delivering outstanding patient care, conducting cutting-edge research, educating our future caregivers and improving the health of our community.

Please take some time to explore this site as you prepare for your start date. This website was designed as a resource for new employees; please reference it for valuable information as you begin your new position. We look forward to having you as part of our team.

Sincerely,

Peter L. Slavin, MD
