The public is invited to provide information for a new study about the overall health and quality of life of those who live and work in Revere. The city, Massachusetts General Hospital, and an expanded steering group of the Revere CARES Coalition are teaming up on the community health assessment. The six-month study is designed to produce a comprehensive picture of Revere’s health and a plan to improve it. Part of the assessment includes a quality of life survey that is now available in English and several other languages spoken in the community. The survey can be found on the city’s website,, and in paper form in various locations. “Now is the time for Revere residents to have their say about the quality of life issues they care most about,” Mayor Daniel Rizzo said in a prepared statement. Mass. General is participating through its Center for Community Health Improvement, a program it operates it operates in Chelsea, Revere, and Charlestown, where it has a health center, as well as in the Boston public schools. - John Laidler
