Bubbles and songs burst from the Ellison 17 playroom on June 10 as Paul Carafotes read his children’s book “The Adventures of Charlie Bubbles!” to MGHfC patients. Carafotes, a Somerville native, is an actor, writer and director who now lives in Los Angeles, CA. He is touring several Boston area hospitals to sing, read his new book to children, and donate copies of his book as a way to give back to his hometown. As Carafotes strummed his guitar and told the heroic tales of Charlie Bubbles, a story inspired by his son, MGHfC patients Caylee, 2, and Calia, 3, read along with their mom.
