Aspire Gala 2024 - "Better Together"

In celebration of Aspire's annual spring Gala, Aspire partnered with Pulitzer Prize nominated poet Joseph Fasano to write a special poetry prompt just for Aspire participants. Neary 40 participants submitted responses to help create the “community poem” brought to life in this video. “Better Together” shows that the world is a better place when every voice can be heard, valued and encouraged.


Aspire Receives the Eleanor P. Eells Award for Program Excellence, February, 2024

The American Camp Association honored Aspire with The Eleanor P. Eells Award for Program Excellence for its Adventure Summer Camp program at the ACA national awards ceremony in February 2024. This award honors programs that develop effective, creative responses to the needs of people and/or societal problems using the camp environment or programs which demonstrate the positive contributions the camp experience has on the well-being of individuals and society.

Aspire Gala 2020: Virtual Summer Programming
During the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, while many other summer camps had to close, Aspire was able to stay flexible, creative and adapt to a new virtual platform in order to deliver support and programming to our participants. A few of our participants and families discuss their experiences with Aspire.
