About Julie Edmunds, PhD

Dr. Edmunds is a psychologist in the Child Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Program at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School. She completed her undergraduate work at Harvard University and earned her doctorate in clinical psychology at Temple University. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Brown Clinical Psychology Training Consortium and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Effective Child Therapy at Judge Baker Children’s Center.

Dr. Edmunds specializes in CBT for children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety, mood, and behavioral disorders. She provides clinical supervision in CBT for psychiatry fellows and teaches the Child CBT seminar for MGH psychology interns. Her research interests center on the dissemination of empirically-supported interventions into community practice.
