I am a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician at the Massachusetts General Hospital Lurie Center for Autism. A graduate of Yale Medical School and having trained at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, The Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and at Yale New Haven Hospital, I came to the Lurie Center in 2015.
Over the span of my career I have worked in general pediatrics, in academic teaching of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics, in solo subsupecialty care, and as part of a multidisciplinary team that provided on site assessments of children in the schools of rural upstate New York.
My experience in working with children with autism began at the Yale Child Study Center in the 1980's. Since then I have followed advances in the field and have watched our knowledge about Autism Spectrum Disorders grow exponentially across the years. At the Lurie Center, I have the opportunity to share my experiences from a career of pediatric service and to continue to learn from the providers here across the disciplines of Psychiatry, Psychology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Social Work, Nursing and my own field of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics.
