Research Summary

Dr. Sinha’s research interests include insulin delivery methods in patients with Type 1 diabetes. She is currently working with Dr. Steven Russell on studies in children using the closed loop system of insulin delivery (the bionic pancreas).     My interest in integrating themes of glycemic control and technology to improve management of type 1 diabetes led me to studying automated blood glucose control with a bihormonal bionic pancreas at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Diabetes Research Center with Dr. Steven J. Russell.
