MGHfC and Me: Hi! The idea that the next recruitment season is right around the corner absolutely blows my mind- It feels like yesterday I was at the Hill Tavern on my interview day, getting to my know my inspiring, hilarious, and brilliant co-residents for the first time. These past three months as an intern have been an indescribable experience. One of my favorite things about the MGHfC residency program is the camaraderie among the residents - sharing breakfast and stories on Thursday mornings at didactics, watching the Fourth of July fireworks from the Ellison 17 resident room (best view in the city), and giving high fives in the hallways throughout the hospital. My co-interns always know how to put a smile on my face! I'm looking forward to meeting you and sharing more about my experience at MGHfC!
Fun Fact: My favorite part of residency so far has been working in the delivery room and watching a new dad's excitement/terror/disgust/pride when he cuts his baby's umbilical cord.
