MGHfC and Me: There are many great things about MGHfC, but one of the best is the culture here and the people who are drawn to it. It’s expected of us that we support each other, that we ask for that support in return, and that we “never worry alone”. People here very much promote finding your own niche and passion, whether it is in advocacy, in research, in primary care, a sub-specialty, or whatever else it may be; there’s no wrong answer. I took a slightly non-traditional route to pediatrics and I’m still figuring out what will come after residency, but it’s been a fun journey so far. When I’m not at the hospital, I like to run along the Charles river, eat the delicious food around North End, and paint.
Fun Fact: I've gone abroad for an exchange and to do research in France, Cambodia and Ecuador before residency and hope to do a global health elective as well.
