MGHfC and Me: I am one of the Med-Peds residents and one of the reasons I came to MGH was for its commitment to primary care. There are plenty of MGH-run community health centers scattered throughout the greater Boston area. Each tailored to serve its own unique community. My clinic is at MGH Everett Family Care and I love it there. We are one of the smaller health centers but what we lack for in numbers we make up for in spirit and efficiency. The preceptors and the supporting staff are all dedicated to serving the community and it is a pleasant atmosphere to work in. Through my four years at MGH I hope connect with the community and to develop new community based programs for clinics like MGH Everett.
