MGHfC and Me: I love the MGHfC pediatric residency program! I did an away rotation here as a 4th year medical student, and I knew that this was the place for me. The residents and faculty were so warm and inviting, and I loved learning about the residency program. It's been a perfect fit and I'm so happy to be here! Intern year has been crazy but also so much fun. I've already learned a ton, and my co-residents are wonderful -- I look forward to seeing them every week at LC! MGH does such an amazing job of educating us and making sure that every rotation is a great experience. I'm very interested in advocacy, and MGHfC has so many resources and opportunities. I'm so excited to be a co-chair of RF-DASH this year, and I really enjoy being a part of the pediatric advocacy interest group and getting involved with other advocacy opportunities. My continuity clinic is also such a wonderful environment in an underserved area, and I feel fulfilled after each afternoon in clinic. As far as my interests go, I'm really interested in neonatology, and MGH really emphasizes the NICU in the curriculum. We do a NICU rotation every year and there is a lot of emergency medicine during intern year so plenty of opportunities to do procedures. In addition to being an intern, I love biking (often to and from work), hiking, doing yoga, and spending time with my family and friends! I love being a pediatric resident at the MGHfC, and I know you'll love it here too!
Fun Fact: I've lived in Massachusetts my entire life!
