Note from the Chairman

With this first edition of the MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) Research Newsletter sponsored by the newly established MGHfC Research Council, we begin a quarterly publication to the MGH Pediatric and greater research community to update you on our research activities and accomplishments and to provide a forum for research collaborations and potential funding opportunities. The breadth and impact of research by members of the MGHfC community is extraordinary and we are delighted to provide this opportunity to inform, stimulate and enhance this critically important mission of the MGHfC. We welcome your input in all of these areas as well as any suggestions for the content of future editions.
