Mary C.

Dear Colleagues,

We are extremely saddened to share the news that Mary C. "Kay" Ryan, a dedicated member of the MGH Clinical Research community for 15 years, died at the age of 73 on July 6, 2017.

Kay, as she was known to her colleagues, will long be remembered for her devotion to helping and mentoring clinical research investigators and study staff. She selflessly did her work below the radar while making MGH great.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Kay’s family, including brothers Michael Ryan of Monroe, NY and James Ryan of Meadowbrook, PA.

In Kay's memory, the MGH Division of Clinical Research (DCR) and Mass General Research Institute have created a fund to recognize MGH clinical research staff for exceptional service. Donations can be made to the Mary C. "Kay" Ryan Memorial Fund.
