To help meet the growing need to improve access and help reduce patient wait times for new appointments, the Department of Dermatology is pleased to welcome new dermatologists to the practice.


 abena Ofori, MD

Abena Ofori, MD is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She practices medical dermatology with a special interest in disorders occurring in afro-textured hair and adolescent and adult dermatology. 

Dr. Ofori graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Biology with High Distinction. She subsequently attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis where she was awarded the James Henry Yalem Prize in Dermatology. Dr. Ofori then completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago and returned to the University of Michigan for dermatology training. At the University of Michigan, she was involved in dermatology clinical trials and served as chief resident during her final year of training.

In addition to her work at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Ofori has experience practicing in other regions of the country. She has worked with the Cleveland Clinic and the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and has actively participated in the education of dermatology residents.

Dr. Ofori has an interest in health care delivery in international and underserved settings. She has had the opportunity to study community health in the Dominican Republic and has spent time in a dermatology clinic in Ghana, West Africa. Dr. Ofori also maintains an active interest in academic aspects of dermatology, serving as a physician editor for UpToDate.

 Lynn Baden, MD

Lynn A. Baden, MD, MPH is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing general dermatology for more than 25 years in the Boston area.

She is a graduate of Smith College with an AB in Biochemistry. She then obtained an MPH from Yale University School of Public Health in Chronic Disease Epidemiology.  Dr. Baden received her MD degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed her internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital and her dermatology residency at the Harvard Combined Dermatology Program.

Dr. Baden is a member of numerous professional organizations including a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society of Laser Medicine, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, New England Dermatological Society and Massachusetts Medical Society.

In addition to her career in medicine, Dr. Baden is an award winner of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts.

Her interests lie in the detection and treatment of skin cancers and acute dermatology conditions.

Yahya Argobi, MD

Yahya Argobi, MD is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in autoimmune connective tissue diseases.

Dr. Argobi was born in Saudi Arabia where he graduated with honor from King Khalid University, Abha. After that he did clinical fellowship in skin of color center at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, New York. He then completed his internship at Salem Hospital, Salem, MA. Next, he did his dermatology residency training at Tufts Medical Center. After receiving his Board certification in dermatology, Dr. Argobi returned to Saudi Arabia for two years to work as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at King Khalid University, Abha. After that he joined MGH dermatology, where he completed fellowships in Autoimmune Connective Tissue diseases & Clinical Research Trials in Skin.

Professionally, Dr. Argobi is a member of several organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.

Dr. Argobi's clinical interests are in adult and pediatric general dermatology, connective tissue diseases, psoriasis, acne, and cosmetic dermatology.

Yahya Argobi, MD

Yevgeniy (“Eugene”) R. Semenov, MD, MA is a dermatologist with extensive experience in public health and health economics research.

He received his bachelor's, master’s in Applied Economics, and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Semenov pursued an internship in internal medicine at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD and residency training in Dermatology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.

He has published more than 30 papers, including in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of the American Medical Association Dermatology, British Journal of Dermatology, and multiple other clinical, public health, and health economics publications.

Dr. Semenov’s clinical interests include cutaneous oncology with a focus on melanoma and cutaneous lymphoma. His research interests include epidemiology of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer with an emphasis on improving outcomes and treatment selection for patients with advanced disease.

Dr. Semenov is fluent in English and Russian.  Dr. Semenov will see patients in both our Boston and Danvers locations.
