Maryanne M. Senna, MD
Dr. Senna, is co-director of the Hair Loss Clinic is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hair loss. In addition to treating patients for hair loss; she is developing a specialized Alopecia Research Unit to identify new treatment methods. Diagnosed herself with alopecia in the past, Dr. Senna has personal insight and empathy for her patients.
Mariko Yasuda, MD
Dr. Yasuda, co-director of the Hair Loss Clinic is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hair loss. In addition to her clinical skills, Dr. Yasuda has additional expertise in interperting scalp biopsy specimens in patients who have alopecia.
Lynn A. Drake, MD
Dr. Drake is a world-renown expert and lecturer on hair loss who provides additional consultations.
As a coordinator in the H.A.I.R. Unit, Dina is passionate about bringing quality care to patients with hair disorders. She is also coordinator for the Scalp Coolling Project at Mass General (MGH), a joint venture between the MGH Hair Loss Clinic and MGH Breast Oncology Department.
Brianna DeSouza, MD
Clinical Research Fellow
Dr. DeSouza is a clinical research fellow who has found her niche in the file of hair and scalp disordrs. She is committed to finding new treatment options for alopecia patients and in furthering research to better serve this patient population.
Dermatology Research Fellow
Laura, a thrid-year medical student in the Hair Loss Clinic, is dedicated to supporting patients experiencing hair loss. She brings this enthusiasm ro her work in the H.A.I.R. research unit, investigating new solutions for hair growth and improving physician awareness of hair disorders.
Elizabeth is dedicated to quality patient care and ensuring that our patients’ experience goes as smoothly as possible. She hopes to further her career in medical research by pursuing a graduate degree, and is spending her time in the HAIR clinic to learn how to go about solving complicated and multifaceted issues in research.
