About Nicoletta Fynn-Thompson, MD

Dr. Fynn-Thompson graduated from University of Pennsylvania cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She received her medical degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, and her residency in Ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard University. She trained at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston and New England Eye Center/Tufts University School of Medicine as a fellow in Corneal and Anterior Segment disease.

Dr. Fynn-Thompson is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is an active member within the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She performs small-incision cataract surgery, refractive cataract surgery, lamellar and full thickness corneal transplantation surgery, laser vision correction and other anterior segment surgeries and reconstruction.
