About Thomas Ng, MD, PhD

Dr. Ng is a dual board-certified Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine physician with advanced training in oncologic imaging.

He specializes in the use of imaging to non-invasively diagnose cancer, coronary artery disease, and inflammatory pathologies. He has a focus on oncologic molecular imaging and quantitative functional imaging.

Dr. Ng is an associate director of the Theranostics Program at MGH, offering Radium223 (Xofigo), Lutetium Dotatate (Lutathera), and Lutetium PSMA (Pluvicto) therapies for patients in New England and beyond.

His training includes a medical internship at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, a combined Diagnostic Radiology residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA, followed by advanced training in Nuclear Medicine and Cancer Imaging in the Joint Program for Nuclear Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
