About Jonathan Lee, MD

Jonathan J. Lee M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatopathologist.

Raised in the California Bay Area, Dr. Lee graduated with his B.A. in public health from the University of California, Berkeley. He went on to receive his M.D. with Honors from Harvard Medical School. He completed dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, during which his research on the morbidity and mortality associated with cutaneous manifestations of nutritional deficiency was featured on the cover of The Dermatologist magazine. He subsequently completed dermatopathology fellowship training at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Lee’s research has been presented and awarded at meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology. His work has also been published in JAMA Dermatology and Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Lee is actively involved in the education and mentorship of dermatology and dermatopathology trainees.

Dr. Lee believes that understanding lifestyle, daily practices, and nutrition are central to the care of the dermatology patient. He sees general dermatology and skin cancer patients. His specific clinical interests include disorders of hair, scalp, nail, nutrition, as well as refining approaches to their biopsy interpretation and accurate clinical pathologic correlation.

Dr. Lee will see patients at our Boston and Danvers locations.
