Dr. Beroukhim specializes in fetal and pediatric cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is the director of the pediatric echocardiography laboratory and the fetal cardiology programs at MGH.  She is nationally and internationally known for her work in the field of pediatric cardiac imaging, and the noninvasive diagnosis of pediatric cardiac tumors.  She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.

Dr. Beroukhim completed her pediatric cardiology core training at the Childrens Hospital of Denver and completed subspecialty training in noninvasive imaging at Boston Children's Hospital, which includes fetal echocardiography, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and cardiac MRI.  In addition to her clinical work, she practices clinical research in a variety of areas within congenital and fetal cardiology.

Dr. Beroukhim cares for fetuses and children with congenital and acquired heart disease, and heart rhythm abnormalities.  Her patients include those with complex congenital heart disease, such as single ventricle heart disease.  Some of her patients have syndromes and other medical issues that are associated with their heart defect, and she often works with teams of doctors including obstetricians, pediatricians, and other pediatric specialists.  Because she meets many of her patients prenatally, she enjoys the continuity of care she is able to provide by caring for her patients both before and after birth.  She also treats patients with acquired heart disease and arrhythmias.
