About Charles Boucher, MD

I was a biology major as an undergraduate at Cornell University and then completed my medical school training at Columbia University. I then completed my medical and cardiology training at Beth Israel Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. I then had a 2 year military committment in the US Air Force in San Antonio, Texas. I joined the cardiology staff at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1978 and have worked there ever since. My major interests have been nuclear cardiology and cardiac catheterization. I still am a consultant in nuclear cardiology and I practice performing cardiac catheterization. I also have a clinical consultative cardiology practice. I teach the cardiology fellows and I am on several committees, where I represent the interests of the cardiology division and the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
