Please call 978-882-6700 from 8:30 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, to schedule an appointment with a North Shore Physicians Group primary care specialist.

Shared Appointments

North Shore Physicians Group's shared medical appointments provide patients with a 90-minute medical visit with a physician and a multi-disciplinary care team, in the company of six to ten other patients.

Individual consultations and benefits of shared appointments

The appointment begins with each patient receiving an individual consultation and review of medications or tests. Following that consultation, the physician leads a group discussion about a specific condition. Patients are able to discuss their concerns, ask questions and learn from other patients. All participating patients sign a confidentiality agreement.

Current shared medical appointments include:

  • Primary care (adults)
  • Back pain
  • Nutrition
  • Sports medicine
