    From Sept. 4 through 28 MGHers have the opportunity to make a gift in any amount to the “My Giving Helps: The MGH Fund + United Way Employee Campaign.”
  • Stories of strength, hope and healing

    It was a morning of honest, powerful speeches at the Sept. 5 anniversary breakfast for HAVEN (Hospital’s Helping Abuse and Violence End Now). The group has provided counseling, advocacy, support groups and workshops to domestic abuse survivors at the MGH for 15 years.

    Surfers from the Mauli Ola Foundation visited MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) patients on Aug. 27.
  • Transforming health care: from episodic interactions to population health management

    For decades, health care has been organized primarily around episodic interactions with individual patients. With population health management, however, care is organized around patients’ health needs regardless of whether they are seeking health care. The goal is better health for these patients as well as lower costs.
  • Flu vaccination for employees campaign begins

    The MGH Occupational Health Service is kicking off its annual seasonal flu vaccination campaign for employees on Sept. 17.
