  • Miracle comes full circle

    It all began in the early morning hours of Jan. 29. Dawn Joyner was rushed by ambulance from Logan Airport to the MGH. She was 32 weeks pregnant and experiencing severe pain.
  • Benefits Open Enrollment runs through Nov. 26

    Benefits Open Enrollment opened Nov. 4 and will remain in effect through Nov. 26. Open Enrollment is the only time of the year when MGH and MGPO employees can enroll in or change their benefits, unless they experience a qualified life event.
  • The warm glow of Diwali

    The East Garden Room was aglow as MGH staff gathered Nov. 5 to celebrate Diwali. Known as “the festival of lights,” Diwali is observed by Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, and Sikhs and is one of India’s biggest and most important holidays.
  • MGH nurses: Simply the best

    Patricia Livingstone, Kathleen Damian and Laura Neville, all registered nurses in the Call Center at the MGH Cancer Center, are celebrating a milestone.
  • In Memoriam: Alan Aisenberg, MD, PhD

    Alan Clifford Aisenberg, MD, PhD, who worked at the MGH for more than 50 years, died Oct. 27 at the age of 86.
  • A new home for MGH Broadway Primary Care office

    The MGH Broadway Primary Care office in Revere celebrated its relocation from 300 Broadway to a larger site at 385 Broadway with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 30.
  • MGH launches Recovery Research Institute

    Michael Botticelli, deputy director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, who recently celebrated 25 years of sobriety, was the keynote speaker at a special event to celebrate the launch of the MGH Recovery Research Institute (RRI), under the Department of Psychiatry.
