Nurse-midwives at Massachusetts General Hospital provide prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care for patients who are not considered to have a "high-risk" pregnancy. To make an appointment with the Midwifery Service, contact the Obstetrics Program and request an appointment with a midwife.

Jillian Kinton-Vieira, CNM, FNP, MSN, is a staff nurse-midwife in the Midwifery Division in the Department of OB/GYN at Mass General. Her clinical interests include contraception and family planning, as well as reducing racial and ethnic health disparities. She is also committed to adolescent and teen healthcare. She sees patients at Chelsea HealthCare Center, in Yawkey OB triage, as well as our Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units. Jillian completed her midwifery education at the Emory University Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and holds a BA from Colgate University.
