Nurse-midwives at Mass General provide family planning and contraception services, and prenatal, labor and delivery and postpartum care for those patients who are considered to have low- or moderate-risk pregnancies. Shannon M. Kelley is a staff nurse-midwife in the Midwifery Division in the Department of OB/GYN at Mass General. She is interested in community health, trauma-informed care and labor support. Other fields of interest are caring for sexual assault survivors and those in underserved communities. She sees patients at the MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center and the Mass General Labor & Delivery/Postpartum units. She is also a sexual assault nurse examiner.
