Vicky's Story: How an avid athlete with constant neck pain got back to her active life after seeing the team at the Orthopaedic Spine Center.
Vicky's Story

Condition: herniated disc in neck
Interests: triathlons, traveling, yoga, running
"Prior to my surgery with Dr. Cha, I was having some level of radiating pain in my neck everyday. I have always been involved with running, yoga, triathlons, surfing. But as a result of the pain, I was not able to do any kind of impact activity. The pain had a profound impact on my quality of life, which is why I opted to see Dr. Cha.
I woke up after the surgery thinking "Why did I wait so long?" It was so much easier than I thought it was going to be. I'm back to my yoga. Back to my running. I am not on any medication, and I feel like the old me."
