Tiomthy Cheng, MD

Timothy Cheng was raised in La Canada, California, a suburb outside of Los Angeles. He attended the University of California at San Diego and graduated cumme laude with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Following college, Dr Cheng worked as a software engineer at BAE systems, designing integrated intelligence software for the department of defense. He then decided to switch careers and attended the University of California at Los Angeles for medical school. Dr Cheng completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of California at San Diego.

In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, singing out of tune, and spending time with his wife, daughter and dog.

Orlando Sabbag, MD

Dr. Orlando Sabbag grew up in Barranquilla, Colombia. He fist came to the U.S. in 2005 on a presidential full tuition scholarship to attend college at Georgetown University where he majored in biology. Subsequently, he obtained his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Sabbag then went on to complete Orthopaedic Surgery residency in 2019 at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Sabbag has a special interest in Sports Medicine and joint preservation surgery. During his residency training, he completed research in the incidence and natural history of surgically treated discoid meniscus, the use of tranexamic acid in at risk patients, hip preservation in hip osteonecrosis, and techniques in upper and lower extremity surgery.

Dr. Sabbag enjoys playing soccer and basketball. He plays the piano and the guitar. He enjoys languages and travel. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog.
