PrimeCare has been a terrific service and has helped many of my patients. PrimeCare put extensive services in place to care for a 93-year-old man and enabled him to stay in his own home while his wife was hospitalized for nearly a month between Mass General and Spaulding Rehab Hospital having bilateral knee replacements. Otherwise, the husband would have needed to leave his home and be in unfamiliar surroundings in a nursing home, which would have been very difficult, or the wife would have needed to forego the knee surgery—this is an example of the kind of things that PrimeCare can make possible.
