Jonathan Lerner is a staff psychologist in the Behavioral Medicine Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is also an instructor in Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lerner delivers clinical care to patients through the Behavioral Medicine Program, in addition to whcih he provides assessment and treatment to patients being seen through the MGH Department of Gastrogenterology's Digestive Health Center, and the MGH Department of Neurology's Institute for Brain Health. Dr. Lerner also provoides clincal supervision for psychology interns and post-doctoral fellows in the MGH Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Lerner's clinical and research interests are in the areas of behavioral medicine and adult anxiety disorders. In addition to providing clinical care to patients in the Behavioral Medicine Program, he also provides clincial care, consultation, and training to several medical services, including the MGH Department of Neurology’s Institute for Brain Health (IBH), the MGH Department of Gastrogenterology’s Digestive Healthcare Center and Crohn’s and Colitis Center, and the MGH Internal Medicine Associates (IMA). Dr. Lerner also has a special interest in the intersection of technology and psychology, including Internet-based psychological assessment and treatment, telemedicine, electronic data capture, and data management for clinical trials. In addition to his work at MGH, Dr. Lerner has a private practice office in Cambridge, MA.
