Mass General West Imaging in Waltham is now offering twice as many MRI appointments with the addition of a second scanner.

The new equipment uses the latest technology to generate high-quality images that are interpreted by a Mass General radiologist with specialty training in the area of the body under examination.

While Mass General West Imaging continues to renovate patient areas and exam rooms, the second MRI scanner is temporarily housed in space adjacent to the building.
