We currently host an active monthly working group to discuss qualitative works-in-progress. This group is open to individuals who have internal/external funding to conduct a qualitative or mixed methods study.

Trainees and faculty with training grants that include qualitative research components are highly encouraged to attend. The purpose of this group is to learn from each other and help move our qualitative work forward. We commonly discuss IRB proposal development, guides/data capture tools development and testing, data collection, data analyses, and write ups, as well as integration of qualitative components in mixed methods research.

The groups will be co-facilitated by the DCR Qualitative and Mixed Methods Unit faculty: Drs. Elyse Park, Lara Traeger, Christina Psaros and Jordan Neil.

Time: First Thursday of every Month | 5:00pm – 6:00pm

Location: Lawrence House, first floor conference room.  It is the small red brick building on North Grove Street, at the corner of Cambridge Street, immediately past the main MGH gates and behind Finagle a Bagel. It is not a locked building. The conference room is on the main floor, just to the left as you enter the building.

Please e-mail Lara Traeger if you are interested in signing up for this cohort. Monthly attendance is not required.
