Dr. Fisher was a resident and chief medical resident  at Thomas Jefferson University Hospiral in Philadelphia, followed by rheumatology fellowship at NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York.  Since then, he has been at MGH.  Dr. Fisher's interests, in addition to clinical rheumatology, include clinical trials of new medications, and improvement of usage of current medications and 'best practices' to lead to better patient outcomes.
