About Meredith Seidel, MS, LCGC

Ms. Seidel joined the Center for Cancer Risk Assessment in 2011. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Smith College and went on to do laboratory research in the biology department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She then spent several years in the field of Health Information Technology (HIT) managing projects ranging from clinical trials to hospital quality improvement programs, as well as leading a team of experts in the effort to develop critical criteria for oncology-specific electronic medical records. In 2010 she earned her master’s degree through the Genetic Counseling Program of the Mount Sinai Medical School in New York, NY. Ms. Seidel sees patients in Boston as well as the Mass General Cancer Center in Danvers, for a variety of cancer predisposition syndromes. In addition, Ms. Seidel has specialized in hereditary neuro-oncology and tumor syndromes, in particular, the neurofibromatoses.
