Family-Centered Care

We respect that the family is the center of the child’s life and what affects one member of a family unit has an effect on the entire family. We believe that parents are vital members of the patient’s care team and encourage them to be active participants in their child’s life. We also believe that patients benefit from having parents at their side as much as possible, so we welcome parents at any time, and providing rooming-in accommodations in our PICU, NICU and general inpatient pediatric units. While there, families have access to kitchen facilities, family lounges and playrooms. We also partner with parents to continuously improve our services.
