Primary Care

The Lurie Center for Autism at Mass General for Children provides primary care services to children and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

In addition to the wide range of developmental specialties at the Lurie Center, we understand that our patients have every day healthcare needs as well.  This includes routine check-ups, school and program physicals, sick visits and help with managing chronic medical conditions. Knowing that medical interactions can be challenging for our patients and families, our top priority is to ensure that they feel safe and well cared for. We embrace flexibility to meet the unique needs of each patient. The primary care provider is part of the patient’s Lurie Center team and collaborates with each specialist on an on-going basis.
