Nora Abo-Sido, MD, an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics resident, has been honored with the 2022 Association of Med-Peds Program Administrators Walter W. Tunnessen, Jr., MD, Award from the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine. The award recognizes a graduating med-peds resident who has demonstrated compassion, altruism and outstanding communication skills with patients and families and who has showed awareness and advocacy of the impact that the larger community has on the health of children and adults.

Susan Hata, MD, of Pediatric Primary Care, received the 2021 MGfC Mentoring in Excellence Award in recognition of her outstanding mentoring and contributions to the professional development of MGfC faculty and trainees.

Fatima Cody-Stanford, MD, MPH, MPA, MBAof the Pediatric and Adult Weight Center and Pediatric Endocrinology, received the 2021 Mentoring for Diversity and Inclusion Award from the Nutrition Obesity Research Center at Harvard (NORCH) in recognition of meaningful, sustained mentorship to young investigators from underrepresented in medicine backgrounds (URM) in the fields of nutrition, obesity and metabolism.
