About Kaitlyn Wallace, MS, CCLS

Kaitlyn Wallace, MS, CCLS graduated with a Master’s of Science in Child Life and Family-Centered Care from Wheelock College. Kaitlyn’s clinic experience includes supporting patients, siblings and families in pediatric oncology, pediatric surgery, pediatric anesthesia, pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric specialty clinics. She is a facilitator of the Club STAR bereavement support group at Mass General for Children.

As a child life specialist at MGfC, I have the opportunity to support children and families throughout some of their most challenging times, to play and laugh every day at work, and to learn from the interdisciplinary staff, families and children I meet. It is truly a privilege to provide support to the kids and families that are here for treatment. Being able to witness a child transition from a quiet, introverted and scared child at the beginning of treatment to a confident, comfortable child who has learned to master his/her healthcare experience is a true honor. The courage and resiliency of our pediatric patients is inspirational.
