About Randie Black-Schaffer, MD, MA

Dr. Black-Schaffer is a nationally recognized expert in the rehabilitation of young adults after stroke.  She directs the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital's Stroke Rehabilitation Program and the Division of Stroke and Neurology of the Dept. of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School.  She is Director of the Spaulding Stroke Research and Recovery Institute, which seeks to foster stroke recovery research and create programs to enhance the recovery and quality of life for long term stroke survivors.
