About Emilio Madrigal, DO

Dr. Madrigal is a cytopathologist and informatician at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He received his DO degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2013 and completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Mount Sinai in New York City. He went on to complete blended cytopathology and clinical informatics fellowships from Emory University and the MGH, respectively. Dr. Madrigal joined the MGH staff in 2019, where he is part of the active fine needle aspiration biopsy service and works with the computational pathology to in building innovative, data-driven platforms to facilitate diagnostic decisions and improve educational delivery.
