About Christopher Cashman, MD, PhD
Dr. Christopher Cashman is a physician scientist in the Neuromuscular Division and Department of Neurology at Mass General Brigham, as well as an Instructor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. His clinical practice is focused on seeing patients with a variety of neuromuscular disorders, especially neuropathy and other disorders of nerve degeneration. In the laboratory, Dr. Cashman investigates the mechanisms of neuropathy.
Dr. Cashman received his MD and PhD in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University. He completed his internship in Medicine (2018-9) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Residency in Neurology (2019-2022) as well as Fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine (2022-2023) at Mass General Brigham.
