About Scott  Lipnick, PhD

Scott Lipnick, PhD, joined the Center for Assessment Technology and Continuous Health (CATCH) in January 2015 as the Scientific Director.

His long-term research goal is to integrate medical informatics, genomics, and cellular models, including induced pluripotent cells and their derivatives, to identify druggable pathways that underlie disease and match them to responder patient groups. His current projects primarily focus on neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases including Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Schizophrenia, and Aging.

Dr. Lipnick is an Instructor of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School and also holds a position as a Principal Scientist at the Harvard University Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology (SCRB). He received his doctorate in Biomedical Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
