MGH’s Pet Therapy Program Sparks Smiles
For years, MGH Volunteer Services Pet Therapy dogs have played an important role within the hospital offering comfort and connection to patients and staff.
The CSIBD Research Seminar Series focuses on inviting junior investigators to present recent findings and introduce new tools relevant to IBD. Speakers spend a day meeting investigators and have lunch with trainees; this format exposes researchers to the IBD community and provides opportunities to network, develop new research initiatives, and form collaborations.
Since 1991, this seminar series has coordinated with the Harvard Medical School Immunology Series such that speakers give a seminar at Harvard Medical School on Wednesday and a seminar at MGH on Thursday, allowing us to have world-renowned experts in immunology visit MGH and meet with faculty and trainees. Integrated into this series is a monthly luncheon with visiting faculty for trainees and fellows that provides an opportunity to interact in a relaxed, casual setting. Please visit the Center for Immunology & Inflammatory Disease for the schedule.
