Inpatient Palliative Care

We offer specialized, interdisciplinary care to patients admitted to the hospital at Mass General with serious illness, as well as their families.

Outpatient Palliative Care

We offer outpatient palliative care appointments for patients.

Home Based Palliative Care

The Mass General Home Based Palliative Care Program (HBPC) provides sub-specialty palliative care clinical support to patients living in the community with advanced complex illness.

Bereavement Support

We offer bereavement support, referrals, and resources for patients, families, and staff.

Age Positively Clinic

Patients living with HIV can experience age-related health concerns earlier than the general population. Our geriatricians help patients live their best lives and set the stage for healthier aging.

Perioperative Optimization of Senior Health (POSH) Clinic

This clinic is a partnership between Mass General Surgery and Geriatric Medicine services.

The Division of Palliative Care & Geriatric Medicine welcomes patients and family members who are facing a serious or life-threatening illness, regardless of diagnosis or ability to pay. Services are provided to inpatients and outpatients. Services vary, depending on individual patient and family preferences.
