About the Program
Through the Mass General Brigham Asthma Center, we collaborate with specialists at four leading hospitals in Greater Boston to provide specialized asthma care. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of integrated and comprehensive care for persons with asthma and related diseases, and to promote improved understanding about asthma through educational programs and materials for our patients, health care providers and for the community.
We have expertise in difficult-to-manage asthma and asthma-related lung diseases such as allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, chronic eosinophilic pneumonia and Churg-Strauss syndrome.
We offer the following testing for diagnosis of asthma: spirometry (pre- and post-bronchodilator), lung volume, single breath diffusing capacity (DLCO) methacholine challenge testing, and fractional exhaled nitric oxide testing (FeNO).
We provide one-on-one asthma and inhaler teaching and a variety of educational materials in both English and Spanish.
We prescribe the latest biologic therapies for qualifying individuals.
