I grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and attended medical school at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. I then completed my pediatrics residency at Yale University in New Haven, CT before moving back to Boston to complete my pediatric nephrology fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. A Top Hospital in America
Mass General is recognized as a top hospital on the U.S. News Best Hospitals Honor Roll for 2024-2025.
The experience was pleasant and informative overall. I had no issues with the provider.
Dr. Tan is the best! He is helpful at explaining things so I understand it fully, and allows us to come to our own decisions without forcing his opinions on us. I respect his opinion and couldn't recommend him enough.
Dr. Tan is probably one of the most caring and competent doctors that we have had experience with and I'm so very glad that he's on my team.
Dr. Tan is definitely one of the best doctors we have ever encountered with. So knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. He explained everything that we might be interested in, never left any question unanswered and was so kind with our baby. It was so refreshing to see a specialist working with children to have such good relationship with them. We ... Read More
It's really good, doctor.
Doctor Tan is very friendly and acknowledgeable. He knows how to communicate with me. He not only provides the service but also educates me about my health. I am grateful to be his patient
He is very thoughtful, open to patient feedback, and takes the time to explain things in detail and is very clear about what long term and short term steps that are needed. He is easy to communicate with and always provides positive reinforcement and constructive feedback on patient progress.
Dr. Tan was very good to deal with, very pleasant, he knew what exactly our problem was and how to deal with it. And he gave us plenty of time for questions and was just very, I couldn't rate him higher. Thank you.
Excellent service. The doctor, nurses, and translator attended to us very well. We were very happy to leave the hospital. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, and interpreter for their care. Many thanks.
