Dr. Lu is an attending Pediatric Pulmonologist in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at MassGeneral Hospital for Children.
She graduated from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute/Albany Medical College Physician-Scientist Program, a combined, accelerated B.S/M.D. program. She stayed in New York to complete her Pediatrics residency at the New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center Program. She returned home to New England for her Pediatric Pulmonology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and stayed on as faculty. During residency and fellowship, she was recognized with teaching and academic achievement awards, including the MGHfC Outstanding Fellow Teaching Award.
In her role as a clinician-scientist, she takes care of children with a broad range of pulmonary conditions. Her research work at the Channing Division of Network Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital focuses on asthma and asthma genetics, which reflects her clinical interest in asthma and pulmonary genetics.
