About Chen Rosenberg, MD

Chen E Rosenberg, MD, received her undergraduate degree from Boston College and completed her medical education at New York Medical College. She completed a residency in General Pediatrics at Cohen Children's Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center/University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Under the mentorship of Marc E. Rothenberg, MD, PhD, her research sought to understand the function of adaptive immunity in eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) with a focus on understanding B cell responses based on the observation that IgG4, but not IgE, is markedly elevated in EoE. Concurrent with her research fellowship, she helped initiate a peanut oral immunotherapy (OIT) standardization clinic for standardizing peanut OIT protocols for patients with peanut allergy. She is currently a pediatric allergist/immunologist at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children and an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. She has special interests in food allergy, food oral immunotherapy, and investigational therapies for food allergy.
