Virtual Laser Cosmetic Consults
Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker issued a statewide order for all residents to stay at home in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). The doctors and staff at Mass General Dermatology Laser and Cosmetic Center want to stress the importance of staying home and staying healthy during this time. However, we will be “open” for virtual visits for our cosmetic patients.
While we are unable to see you in our clinic until restrictions are lifted, we are able to provide one-on-one virtual consultations. These consultations are conducted within a HIPAA version of Zoom and are as close to the in-person experience as possible. It works in 3 simple steps:
1. Request Your Virtual Consultation
You can do this by calling our office at 617-724-6960, leave a message and a coordinator will return your call. If you are not already a patient of Mass General Hospital, you will be asked to register at 617-942-6129.
2. Let Us Guide You
Our patient coordinator will guide you through the process over the phone and discuss the consultation fee.
3. Preparing for Your Virtual Cosmetic Consultation
Please allow 30 minutes for the typical virtual consultation. For the best possible experience, we recommend following these tips:
- Plan to be in a brightly lit and securely private room at the time of your appointment,
- Use a device with a larger screen, such as a laptop or tablet.
- You may be asked to upload photos.
We’re happy to schedule additional appointments if you have further questions or concerns. You’re always welcome to call us at any time. We look forward to meeting with you to discuss the best possible treatment plan.
