About Rebecca Campen, MD

Rebecca B. Campen, M.D., J.D., is a board-certified dermatologist and Clinical Associate of Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Georgia and she received a master s degree in microbiology and public health from the Medical College of Georgia. After receiving her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law; she received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her residency training in dermatology at the Medical College for Georgia.

Dr. Campen has served on several national and international committees. She is the author of several books, and is a co-author to several journal articles. As a writer for Harvard Health Publications, she answers web-based questions from the public regarding dermatological problems. She is actively involved in patient education through all types of media, print, radio, and television; regarding topics such as psoriasis, acne, skin protection for infants, skin cancer, and sun damage.
