Research
My lab focuses on elucidating the mechanisms of cardiac and vascular diseases. We are working to understand the biochemical processes resulting in atherosclerosis. Investigations are focused on signal transduction mechanisms responsible for the pre-atherosclerotic intimal hyperplasia, and the factors stimulating the formation of intimal necrotic/lipid cores. For more details, visit the Stone Lab. For information about research concepts, co-authors, and to see a timeline, visit Dr. Stone's profile at the Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center.
